Exhibition

Please join us at the GRAND OPENING of Traces of the Past: An Exhibition on Archaeology / Technology / Imagery this Sunday, October 12 at 6:00 PM in Smith Warehouse, Bays 10-11, 2nd floor.  (Please enter through Bay 12.)  The exhibition is part of the Age of Sensing International Conference organized by Maurizio Forte, William and Sue Gross Professor of Classical Studies and Art, Art History & Visual Studies.  Refreshments will be provided.     Parking:  The parking lot on the south side of the Smith Warehouse can be accessed from the Maxwell/Buchanan or Maxwell/Campus Drive intersections. The lot offers 3 options:
  • Free 2-hour visitor spots outside of Bay 4.
  • 1 ungated metered area open to all visitors near the Campus Dr entrance across from Bay 12. The first 30 minutes is free (obtain a dashboard pass at the meter). Thereafter the rate is $2 per hour.
  • A central gated area, accessible by card swipe to Duke faculty, students and staff who have premium-level parking passes.

Conference participants who cannot attend the Grand Opening, will have the opportunity to visit the exhibit during Breakfast on Wednesday morning.
