The 5th International Conference on Remote Sensing in Archaeology: The Age of Sensing will take place in Durham, North Carolina at Duke University.  After being hosted in China, Italy, and India, this is the first time the International Conference on Remote Sensing will be hosted in the United States.

Parking

Free parking will be available on Monday (13 October) and Tuesday (14 October) at the Bryan Center Parking Garage (120 Science Drive. Duke University, West Campus. Durham, NC 27708) and on Wednesday (15 October) at the Smith Warehouse Lot (Maxwell Ave, Durham, NC 27701)

Evening Transportation

Following the evening events on Monday and Tuesday, we will offer a shuttle service to the Bryan Center (Parking Garage, walking distance to Washington Duke Inn and Thomas Center) and to the Hilton Garden Inn on Main Street

Conference participants staying at the Millennium Hotel ($6 unlimited use per day) and Extended Stay Durham – University (complementary) can arrange to have the hotel shuttle pick them up from the Brian Center.  The Courtyard Durham – Duke University/Downtown offers a complementary shuttle service hourly from 7am to 9pm.

Participants staying in other area hotels/accommodations can arrange to have a cab pick them up from the Brian Center or the Hilton Garden Inn.
